Environmental Management - Generating recycling program

Electroperú SA, in fulfillment of its social responsibility policy, performs various actions of environmental management, minimizing the impact of its activities on the environment and promoting recycling.

This program was designed to contribute to protecting the environment through the collection of plastic bottles, cartons and tetra pack, with the aim of generating recycling habits, raising awareness among stakeholders about the effects of climate change.

The material stockpiled by employees is exchanged with products such as towels, umbrellas, shirts, post it, puzzles, etc.

More about the program

In 2014 it was included the active participation of more than 80% of employees of the three locations (Lima, CPM and Tumbes).
The money from the sale of recycled material was used to complete the acquisition of materials for cold spell campaigns and Christmas of the Generating smiles program by each year for more than 3,000 children in the district of Colcabamba, Huancavelica, hinterland of Electroperú SA.

In 2014 was consolidated an estimated 2,340 Kilos of recyclable material, with the active participation of employees of the company.
