The Museum of Electricity, was inaugurated on August 9, 1994 by the company Electrolima and in 1998 the museum was transferred to ELECTROPERU S.A.
The Museum is an educational space that disseminates issues related to electricity and industrial heritage for free.
It is made up of the souvenir wagon located outside the museum, the courtyard of the sculptures and six exhibition rooms that display topics related to the history of electricity, sources of generation, power generation process, electric trams and energy savings . In addition, a collection of old electrical appliances that marked a before and after in Peruvian homes.
